Konyagawa Bikan District

As an aesthetic district of Takahashi, a spot you want to visit by all means. Beautiful rows of cherry blossoms and willows continue along the Igaya River, which flows into the Takahashi River. This Iga River was originally the outer moat of Binaka-Matsuyama Castle. There are stone lanterns and Ebisu Shrine at the base of the bridge, and many attractions such as the site of the Aribukan of the clan school and the Takahashi Christian Church, the oldest building in Okayama Prefecture, also stand along the river.

Bichinaka Songshan Castle

It is a mountain castle built on Mount Kōshi at the northern end of the city, and is one of Japan's three-mountain castles along with Iwamura Castle in Mino and Takatori Castle in Yamato. Even now, a robust stone wall rises on the mountain, and it is majestic. Part of the castle tower, double tower and earthen wall are extant, and have been designated as National Important Cultural Property. It is the only mountain castle in the surviving castle tower at an altitude of 430m, and the Ninomaru offers a view of the city of Takahashi. There is a place between the hearth and the costume on the first floor of the castle tower, and a palace on the second floor. The double tower leading from the back of the castle tower is a two-story structure with a high stone wall. The time when the cloud sea comes out is from dawn to early April from late September to around 8 o'clock. In particular, a thick morning fog occurs when the difference between morning and daytime temperatures is large from early October to early December.

Takahashi-shi samurai residence, former Hanihara family

During the mid-to late Edo period, the residence of the samurai who served as Kinkyo and Bancho, and as a samurai residence under Matsuyama Castle, it is a rare construction that incorporates elements of temple architecture and sukiya style, and is designated as an important cultural property of the city.

Stone fire arrow town hometown village

On both sides of the street extending south from the foot of Mt. Even now, more than 150 years after the Meiji Restoration, the town still retains its appearance as a yashiki town. This town and the beauty area of Konyagawa-suji are designated as Ishibaya-cho Hometown Village.

Yorikuji Temple

One of the Ankoku-ji temples that Takashi Ashikaga ordered the countries to build. The main temple is the Holy Kansei Ongvara, which is also the wadsho of the No.13 Setouchi Kannin No. 5, Bichinaka West Country. The Tō Garden (Meishatsu), which was created around the year of Gyeongsang 9 (1604), is a Pengrai style of the Hengrai style by Shūshū Kobori, with a borrowed view of Mount Aigago, with Tsurushima in the center and Kamejima in the rear, representing the waves of Aikai in Satsuki's large cut-in. You can sit in the parlour and admire it, and it's the best time to see Satsuki from late May to early June, but the snow-capped winter landscape is also beautiful. Every autumn, a tea party is held to honor Kobori Yushu.

Songlian Temple

In the third year of the Meiji era (1657), the feudal lord Mizutani Isemori Katsutaka was relocated from Okumanda Town. The sturdy stone walls surrounding the area were built as a line of defense for Binaka-Matsuyama Castle. The tour will be only for the exterior, but the grade ceiling [Goutenjo] and Funato in the Kannon-do on the right of the main hall is an important cultural property designated by Okayama Prefecture. This was built by the governor-general Okayama Castle, Ukita Hideya, in the role of Bunroku, performed by Hideyoshi, with the materials of the Gozabune when he was sent to Korea.

Komori Onsen

The hot spring that left the image of the Yujiba of the Bizenokayama clan Ikeda Tsuzimasa. In each of the bathrooms of both sexes, there are two hot and lukewarm water boats, and the colorless and transparent hot water is poured with a water sink, while the white hot water blossoms bloom on the hot water surface. Accommodation is also possible.
