Samurai House

Road Station Daigo no Sato

Former Suqian Jian Elementary School

It was built in Meiji 40 (1970) and was used until 1990 (1990). Modern elementary school building in the Meiji era, reminiscent of a guest house. The luxurious Western-style architecture is a ceiling of cypress wood, and a wide round staircase is carefully built by a royal carpenter.

Daigo cherry blossoms

A cherry tree, said to be an estimated age of 1000, is located on an elevation of 500m in the Kichenji district. The trunk is about 9.2m thick and 18m high, and the name is derived from the fact that when Emperor Go-Daigo stopped at this place during the Oki distribution in Motohiro 2 (1332), he honored her for her pride and bloom. It will be in full bloom from late March to early April, and you can enjoy the Daigo cherry blossoms lit up from flowering to leaf cherry blossoms.

Firefly in Kitafusa District, Maniwa

The Kitafusa area is located in the southern part of Maniwa City. It is a mountain village opened around the Bichinagawa River which flows through the center of the area. It was also selected as the Ministry of the Environment's "Hometown Ikimonosato 100", and fireflies are observed in various places in Japan's leading firefly village. You can enjoy Ranbu on the Kanjo Road, which connects the Kitafusa Promotion Bureau parking lot to Kitafusa Hotaru Park. Accommodation, meals, and experience menus are also provided according to fireflies.

Waterfall of the Garden

標高1030mの星山を源流とする神庭川に架かる滝。高さ110m・幅20mの大瀑布は中国地方随一の規模を誇り、「日本百景」「日本の滝百選」に選定。国指定の名勝にも指定されている。神庭の滝手前のせり出した岩から水がしたたり落ちる、玉垂の滝も見もの。一帯は神庭の滝自然公園として整備されており、カツラやケヤキ、イタヤカエデなどの落葉樹が多く、春の新緑、秋の紅葉は格別。170匹ほどの野猿も生息し、姿を現すこともある。

Ikura Gorge

The limestone precipice, about 240m high, which rises along the Takahashi River, one of the three major rivers in Okayama Prefecture, is a spectacular view. Autumn is a beautiful contrast between limestone gray and colorful autumn leaves such as maple, ginkgo and maple. There was a towing train in the vicinity, and the D51838, a steam locomotive decorated with the coat of arms (replica) of the phoenix in the custom, is also on display, making it a shooting spot. There is a 50m waterfall in the cave, which has an entrance to the precipice, and you can experience the mystery of nature.

Manki Cave

It was named because of the chants of "Oddly Filled Cave" by Akiko Yosano. The highlight is the Ryugu Bridge over the innermost Lake of Dongai. The cave is 14, 5 degrees all year round, so it looks like a natural cooler in summer.

Ikura-dong

The total length is 1200m. There is an entrance at the foot of the rising 240m high limestone, which extends the world of artistic stalactites (a natural monument designated by Okayama Prefecture).
