Former Ise-Nai Imperial Shrine

The first Jinza-ji and the transmitted shrine of Amaterasu-Ōgami, who moved around the country by the time it became the Ise Shrine. One of the few shrines that now carry the simple and rustic architectural styles from ancient times as they are, such as the main shrine built of Shinmei-style with thatched roofs, and the "Kuroki no Torii", which was made of logs without being skinned of cedar wood. In particular, the giant trees surrounding this precinct and the natural deep forests leave the shrine as it was, feeling the gods in nature. Nishizando is home to the Nikuragatake Harukasho, where the faith of the fulfillment is located. The sun sets at the top of the summer solstice in the sacred place of the forbidden foot that the spirit descended.
