The castle shrine

The Yōjō Shrine is a shrine dedicated to the southern-morning warlord, Munehiro Yōjō, who was active during the North and South Dynasties period, who was credited with the Kamakura shogunate's fall and the Kenbu Chōshoku. It was the beginning of the building of a shrine by the Tsu clan, the teen lord of the Tsu clan, Takado Todo, in Bunsei 7 (1824), on the site where the land of Munehiro's Yinjozuka was located. The Umeen, which was also known as a famous plum spot and was maintained together with the shrine in 1987, includes a fine tombstone of Munehiro, as well as about 300 weeping plums called "Yuki-san's weeping plums" and other plum trees, it will be in full bloom from mid-February to mid-March.
