Shoyama Shrine

It was originally celebrated at the 8th station of Mount Okaishi, but was moved to its current location during the Azuchi-Momoyama period. It celebrates the life of Omiki and the name of Shaohiko as the onsen Daimyojin. It is also known as the Myojin of Love, and it is said that the power of love increases when you touch Oguro's Koikozuchi.

The firefly of Sakakibara Onsen

At Sakakibara Onsen, a mountain village in Mie, surrounded by rich nature, there is a natural occurrence of fireflies along the river river in the hot water every year in the early summer, and you can see the fireflies.

Heiji Senmochi Main Store

It is a specialty of 540 yen with 24 sheets of Heiji Senbei, made after the legend of Akogiura. It has a nostalgic taste of egg flavor in the shape of a shade, and is known locally as a filial senbei.

Toraya Honke

The shop is famous for 6 strawberry Daifuku items 1350 yen (tax included) and 2 pieces 460 yen (tax included), which will be sold only seasonally from November to May. We also recommend paulownia flower and Guanyin-san 170 yen per piece (plus tax), which is made of castella fabric for fertilizer and paste. 185 yen per month (plus tax) for Nagisa in the town of Tsunagisa, a port leading to the Chubu International Airport. It is a baked bun made from old wheat mugashi, with one soft chestnut inside.

Tamayoshi rice cake shop

A long-established store of Japanese sweets founded in the late Edo period. Keiran, which has been transmitted to Tsu since ancient times, is a simple but gorgeous and adorable manju made of rice cakes wrapped in dumplings and made with yellow and red rice cakes. It is said that they were also presented to the dono during the Edo period.

Seikan-do

Meiji 15 (1882) The most historic confectionery place in Tsu. The popular persimmon is a baked bun similar to a dried persimmon, with crispy and fragrant yellow paste inside, and the skin is kneaded with nicki (bay skin), so you can enjoy a unique flavor. 1 Furo persimmon 140 yen, 10 yen 1620 yen, 15 yen 2322 yen. The reprinted butter dorayaki is also a popular product. Fresh butter and kokura paste are sandwich and go well with coffee. 1 butter dorayaki 172 yen.

Mie Prefectural Cultural Center

The Mie Prefectural Cultural Center is a complex cultural facility that serves as a base for the culture of Mie Prefecture. It is composed by the Cultural Center, Lifelong Learning Center, the Center for Gender Equality "Frente Mie", the Mie Prefectural Library, and the Mie Learning Center of the Open University of Japan. Each center hosts fascinating events such as concerts and lectures throughout the year. The building has large, small and medium-sized halls and conference rooms, and can be used for many purposes. There are also many artworks by famous authors on display on the site. There is also a café and art shop where you can relax slowly.

Mie Prefectural Library

The materials of the Mie Prefectural Library can be used by anyone. In the regional materials corner, there are books and information of all genres such as history, geography, culture, administration, industry, nature, tourism, folklore and literature of Mie Prefecture. There are also magazines and publications in the prefecture, as well as brochures of municipalities and public facilities.

Mie Prefectural Museum of Art

It opened in September 1982. At present, the holdings, which number 6000 items, range from art related to Mie Prefecture, Japanese and contemporary art, Western and contemporary art, and Spanish art. These will be exhibited permanently during the fourth period of the year, and a planned exhibition will be held to introduce various arts from Japan and abroad. In addition to the Yanagihara Yoshitas Memorial Hall, an art information room, an experience room, and a family room, the building also includes an auditorium, a restaurant, and a museum shop.
