Tenso Shrine

Shōken at the end of Kamakura as a sōjenmori of the former Suyō village, which was in the eastern half of present-day Toshima District. It has a history of about 700 years. As you step through the bustling shopping street and step into the precincts, there is a 30m high, a pair of "ginko ginko" towering, and there is also a "child child guardian dog" nursing puppies, I am surrounded by calm feelings in the dignified air. In addition to the annual festival in September and the special festival in February, there is also a "great exorcism" at the end of June and the end of December every year. Anyone can participate in a ritual in which they transfer their sins to a paper doll called "gaiyo" in order to get rid of their own sins and injuries.
