Fixed-position network experience ship

Departs from Sakata Fishing Port, located about 1km east of Suzaki Lighthouse. You can get on a boat with a fisherman and experience stationary net fishing. A fixed net is a fishing method in which a large net is placed in a place that serves as a path for fish groups. We leave the port early in the morning and we all pull the net together. It takes a large amount of various fish, but there are also such things as horse mackerel and sardines throughout the year, and amberjack and cams in the fall. Caught fish can be purchased at market prices. Journey time approximately 40 minutes.

Suzaki Lighthouse

A 14.7m high lighthouse lit in 1919. Standing on the southwestern edge of the Boso Peninsula, a unique symbol of the sea town. It is not possible to tour the interior of the lighthouse, but from the heights on the site you can see the boats and Mount Fuji that travel across the bay.

Awa Shrine

A high-performing shrine known as the Palace of Awa Kunigami. The god of the priest, Tentadama no Mikoto [Ameno Fudama Mikoto] is the total ancestor of all industries, and the god of the priest of the lower palace, the god of the shrine that pioneered the Boso (grandfather) it is enshrined in the upper palace, and is widely revered especially as the god of manufacturing and business prosperity. The precincts are full of the four seasons and show seasonal patterns throughout the year. In particular, the precincts of the yellow-leaved period of cherry blossoms and ginko are decorated with pomp.

Chiba Prefectural Museum of Mountain Bird Forest

Adjacent to Awa Shrine. Seasonal wild birds can be observed throughout the year inside the 22.4ha site. Climbing a hiking course for about 10 minutes while enjoying a forest bath, you will find Fujimi Observation Deck, and you can see the Hirasaura coast below your eyes. At the entrance, there is a diorama display corner where wild birds and trees in the forest are reproduced. Currently, there are some places that cannot be passed, so please check on site.

Torofur Garden

A fruit garden located in Tateyama Family Park. Tropical fruits such as mango and passion fruit are grown in a greenhouse in the garden and can be eaten. The centerpiece is dragon fruit. Garden proud fruit grown by basking in the sunshine. You can enjoy juices and smoothies using tropical fruits at the stand.

SURFCO

At a surf shop close to Hirasura, you can rent a sandboard that glides through the dunes. If you rent a board, a car is required because you can travel to the dunes by yourself. Two sandboards are two hours and 2,000 yen.

Anxi Farm Hundred Garden

A plantation in Minamiboso surrounded by rich nature. You can have an agricultural harvesting experience of corn, broad beans, edible rape blossoms, winter lettuce and groundnuts. In addition, the company also sells rice and seasonal vegetables (Italian vegetables) directly and sells them, and Hirasaura rice is strong and popular. Hyakusan sells local vegetables.

Tateyama Experience Studio

The mini-photo frame experience, which is made using shells and sea drifts, is 2,000 yen per person for two hours. You can experience from two people. Tombo-tama experience is from 2500 yen per person in one hour, 3 people. A glass rod of a favorite color is melted to make a dragonfly ball, and then processed into an accessory or strap. Any experience requires inquiry.

Roadside Station Minamifusa Paradise

A roadside station attached to "Aloha Garden Tateyama", one of the largest in the country, located on the Boso Flower Line. Located at the entrance of Aloha Garden Tateyama, the hotel has a restaurant overlooking the sea, and the café offers Hawaiian food and tropical cocktails. Original confectionery and specialty products are sold at the corner of the stand. In the Aloha Garden Tateyama Garden, there is a large greenhouse where you can admire bright flowers such as hibiscus and bougainvillea, as well as southern fruits such as dragon fruit, and there is also a petting animal square for children and adults to enjoy.

Boso Flower Line

The Boso Flower Line is about 46km from Tōyama-shi Shimomachi intersection to Wada-cho, Minamiboso-shi. Among them, the road (about 6km) from Aihama to Ido, Tateyama, which runs along the coast of Hirasura, is also selected as the "Japanese Road 100", with rape blossoms coloring both sides of the road from early spring to early February. In addition, in the summer, marigolds bloom and you can enjoy the seasonal flowers.
