Railway Museum

It was constructed in 2007 as a business commemorating the 20th anniversary of the founding of JR East. It has three concepts, including preservation of heritage and materials related to railways in Japan and the world, research, introduction of history such as railway system transition, and experiential learning of railway technology. There are five stations including work, science, and the future in the building, which consists of the main building and the south building. The vehicle station, which is one of the main exhibits, displays 41 real vehicles and models from the Meiji era to the present. The history station where you can learn the history of Japan's largest railway dioramas and Japanese railways is popular. Experience programs such as mini driving train and D51 simulator are also enriched.

Minem Saitama Museum

In addition to introducing the history of money and the production process of coins and medals, about 1000 items such as old coins and commemorative coins are on display. The Mint Saitama bureau, which is located next door, allows tours of the production process of proof money and medals (on weekdays only), while mint shops sell mint products and museum goods.

Saitama City Cartoon Hall

In 1966, Japan's first museum about manga was built at the site of the late-life residence of "Kitazawa Rakuten", a pioneer of modern satirical manga, "Kitazawa Rakuten". It also exhibits works of Rakuten donated by bereaved people, as well as ateliers, and contemporary manga works. You can also tour a Japanese garden that will remain from those days when Rakuten lived. Museum goods are also on sale, including a fan with a Rakuten work motif.

Saitama City Urawa Museum

The building is a restored central outsider view of the school building of Hōshōkaku (Hōshōkaku), Saitama Prefectural Normal School, which was built in the year 1878 (Meiji 11). The exhibition focuses on the history and culture of Urawa-ku, Sakura-ku, Green-ku and Minami-ku in the city. In addition to the country-designated historical site "Minuma-dori Funabori" lock [komon] model, the material used in Minuma-dori is enriched.

Saitama City Youth Space Science Museum

There is a 23m diameter planetarium that allows you to see powerful images that combine 10 million stars and all-sky digital images, and a space square that describes the achievements of astronaut Koichi Wakata and space development in models, equipment, and images.

Museum of Urawa Kurashi's private house garden

An open-air museum that has been relocated and restored to the traditional buildings in Saitama city. It is lined with thatched old private houses, including the front gate, which was built in the late Edo period, and the former Hasumi family house, which is said to be the city's oldest private house. In addition, Ishizou, which was once the rice grain warehouse of the farm co-op, serves as an exhibition room. The grounds in the Minuma rice field are spacious and can be laid back. Various courses are also held. In addition, on weekdays from spring and autumn to winter, it is crowded with elementary school experience learning.

Seiki Garden

A historic bonsai garden that has continued since the Edo period. In addition to touring the garden, it also holds a one-day experience of "Ayaka bonsai" where you can enjoy bonsai creations, so you can make your own bonsai and take it home as it is.

Omiya Bonsai Museum of Art, Saitama City

It was the world's first "Public Bonsai Art Museum", which was opened as a facility to showcase the charms of bonsai in a diverse way. In addition to pine, which is a staple of bonsai, there are about 60 pieces of bonsai on display, such as maple maple, maple, and other seasonal bonsai. If you look from Azumaya, you will forget the hustle and bustle of the city. You can also get original souvenirs with a logo at the museum shop.

Saitama Garden Botanical Garden

A recreation spot that comes with an agricultural training center in Saitama City, where you can interact with flowers and greenery. It cultivates about 10,000 trees and so on as a place to be familiar with agriculture and a place to observe nature. It consists of a greenhouse area with a flower display greenhouse and an outdoor area with trees and ponds, and the outdoor flower garden offers spring, summer, autumn and winter flowers. It is visited by many citizens along with the adjacent "green square".

Yono Park

A venerable park, known as a spot of cherry blossoms and roses, was opened in 1877. The park, which is selected for the "Saitama Nature 100", has an area of about 51,000 square meters. In the garden, there are about 200 species of roses, such as those named after Anne Frank, author of "The Diary of Anne", and about 3000 stocks, and a "rose festival" is held in May during the flowering period. The flowering of about 300 Yoshino cherry trees in spring is stunning. There is also Tenso Shrine, one of the Yono Shichifukujin, Nobinobi Square, a multi-purpose square, and a children's park. There is a waterway and a jabujabu pond that can play in water beside the rose garden. Green adventure to hit the name of the tree can be enjoyed by parents and children.
