Yono Park

A venerable park, known as a spot of cherry blossoms and roses, was opened in 1877. The park, which is selected for the "Saitama Nature 100", has an area of about 51,000 square meters. In the garden, there are about 200 species of roses, such as those named after Anne Frank, author of "The Diary of Anne", and about 3000 stocks, and a "rose festival" is held in May during the flowering period. The flowering of about 300 Yoshino cherry trees in spring is stunning. There is also Tenso Shrine, one of the Yono Shichifukujin, Nobinobi Square, a multi-purpose square, and a children's park. There is a waterway and a jabujabu pond that can play in water beside the rose garden. Green adventure to hit the name of the tree can be enjoyed by parents and children.
