An aquarium in the northernmost part of Honshu, which displays about 10,000 species of a wide variety of aquatic organisms, including those that inhabit Aomori Prefecture. The 15-meter-long tunnel tank recreates the "sea of Mutsu Bay", and it is possible to observe the state of farmed scallops and other creatures living in Mutsu Bay up close. The much-loved dolphin performance, timed to Tsugaru Shamisen and Nebuta Noriko, is held year-round at the indoor pool. "Kaijukan", where you can see penguins and seals swimming around in the water up close, "Touch Corner" where you can pick up and observe sea creatures directly, and "Iruka-kan", where you can see dolphins up close, are also popular.
