Ski areas, amusement parks, golf courses, and resort hotels are spread in a location where the national park surrounds the surrounding nature, and the area is collectively referred to as "Rusz Resort". You can enjoy skiing in the winter, amusement parks, golf, and other activities in every season in the summer.

Road Station 230 Rusz

A roadside station located in an exquisite scenic spot with a view of Mt. Yotei called "Ezo Fuji". The farm, forestry and fishery product direct sales office located in the building is a direct sales corner for fresh vegetables harvested in the village. Fresh local vegetables line up at low prices. During the harvest season, the specialty Nagamoya daikon, as well as asparagus, pulses, potatoes, pumpkins, sweet corn, etc., will attract visitors.

A hot spring

A village-run day bathing facility. From the rocky open-air bath, you can see Mount Yotei up close. The springs are sodium-chloride, sulfate, and hydrogen carbonate springs (weakly alkaline hypotonic high hot springs), which are said to be effective in neuralgia, myalgia, and joint pain.

Makari Bonfire Campground

A campsite with a view of Mount Yotei in front of you. There are tents, containers and camping trailers, and all tools such as BBQ and tents can be prepared locally, so you can feel free to camp empty-handed. It is also a point that facilities such as a shower room for women are substantial. Enjoy an authentic outdoor experience.

Road Station Makari Flower Center

Makari-no-michi Station, which is a specialty of Yurine, which boasts the best production in Japan. It has a wide variety of produce such as the specialty lily root and locally grown fresh vegetables, as well as souvenirs such as the middle and castella using lily root. It is well received when it sells a variety of flower bed seedlings and garden materials, and can enjoy the seasonal flowers. There is also an exhibition corner of Takashi Hosokawa, a singer from Makari-mura.

Arai Memorial Museum

It holds one of the country's leading Picasso prints, about 100 of which are exhibited in permanent and planned exhibitions. It takes an hour.

I don't want to go to the roadside station.
