It is said that the name is derived from the Hakodate Hachiman-gū, which used to be located on the top of the slope. In the 1980 s, it became a reputation as a location in commercials, and was nicknamed "Charmy Green no Saka". On the side of the sidewalk, a staircase with a railing is maintained up to Sakagami, making it easy to walk. Let's feel the wind of the Bakumatsu Restoration in this Hakodate.
