Mitsubishi Dai Yuzhang Railway Southern Dai Yuzhang Station

It was opened in 1911 (Meiji 44) and was abandoned in 1987 (1987). The station building was dismantled, but six vehicles, including the country's oldest coal wagons and Russell cars, have been preserved in the form of a side-by-side on the platform, by the hands of the preservation society. Tours around abandoned lines are also popular. 2007 (2007), certified Modern Industrial Heritage, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

Former North Coal Shimizu Thermal Power Plant

It is one of the largest coal mine thermal power plants in the country, and is a symbol of Yuzhang Coal Mine. It was closed in 1991 due to the closing of a coal mine. (1 company) The Shimizuzawa Project accepts internal visits (pay, full reservation, except for winter).

Road Station House Jarvi Naie

Roadside station at the halfway point of Japan's longest straight road. The station name is derived from "House Jarvi Town" in Finland, which has a friendship city alliance. It is characterized by a log-house-style calm atmosphere, and there is also a "dog-run" at the back of the dog, which is happy to be a beloved dog. It is well received as a place to be comfortable in good weather. There are various eateries, vegetables and specialty goods outlets, in addition to the popular "Kocha Mimizu", where you can enjoy fried crispy shiitake mushrooms, and "Omusubi Korin", which is popular with freshly-held rice balls made from Nakae.

Tirol hot water without a roadside station

Roadside station located along Road 114 in Utashinai City. The station building is built in the style of a Swiss mountain hut, and inside the station building, information on traffic and sightseeing can be obtained, and photographs showing the history of the city of Utashinai are displayed. Immediately behind the station building, there is a "Yukeburi and Roman Village Tyrol no Yu" where you can stay and take a day-trip hot spring bath. Tirol's Hot Springs is a natural hot spring that springs up as much as 650 liters per minute from the mining mines of the former coal mine. You can enjoy a sauna, bubble hot water, and inner hot water with water pots, as well as a street stall. In the restaurant of the onsen facility, you can taste the local cuisine "Nankohana" in Utashiuchi. "Arena Tyrol", an all-weather sports facility, is also attached.

Kita-Kairo Sunagawa Main Store

Iwase Ranch

At Iwase Ranch, you can enjoy gelato using freshly squeezed milk. In addition to the most popular "freshly squeezed milk", the lineup includes more than 12 flavors at all times. Drinks such as milk and coffee, and cafe sweets menu such as shortcake are also available. There are many takeout menus such as pudding and cheesecake.

Sunagawa SA [Up]

It is located between the Takigawa IC and the Naie Sunagawa IC on the Doo Expressway, and is a service area located in the northernmost part of Japan. It is located in a quiet environment surrounded by nature, and has a selection of famous brand souvenirs, mainly in the Tohoku area. The popular soft serve is also eaten all year round. The adjacent "Hokkaido Children's Country" is home to the "Sunagawa Highway Oasis", the first of its kind in Hokkaido, where people can travel by car. Oasis Plaza includes the "Soraichi Market" and "Oasis Kitchen Sora no Mori", which handle fresh vegetables and specialty products from the local Sorachi region. Sunagawa SA [Descent]

Service area located in the northernmost part of Japan. This area is located at the northern end of the Ishikari Plain and is followed by a route close to a straight line. The stretch of the mountain range on the east side of the highway was a place that once flourished with the coal industry. It is spacious and there is always a lot of sightseeing buses to take a break. The adjacent "Hokkaido Children's Country" is home to the "Sunagawa Highway Oasis", the first of its kind in Hokkaido, where people can travel by car. Hokkaido Country of Children

The Dōtachi Park, which is located adjacent to Sunagawa SA, Hokkaido, Japan. The site, which covers more than 230ha, includes athletic playground equipment.

Road Station Mikasa

Roadside station along Route 12, the first registered national highway in Hokkaido. Inside the station, a giant water wheel with a diameter of 10m is marked, and there is a "nong no kan", where you can learn about the history of agricultural settlement in Mikasa. A hot bath facility and a park golf course are also attached, and the main facility, "Farm Center", sells city tourist information and specialty products such as apple juice. At the "Ramen Daruma and Mikasa" in the center, ramen with rich deliciousness and a hearty karaage with original sauce are well received. In the "Shoku no Kura", an outdoor stand-up stand, local vegetable direct sales and coal zanagi nagodō shops are lined up.
