Road Station Rural Village

A road station that stands at the gateway of the high-rise moor "Rain Dragon Moor", in a Ramsar Register wetland. The "Uryunuma Nature Museum", which is right facing the front, presents photographs such as majestic views of the moors and precious flora and fauna, centered on photographs taken by photographers living in the town. On the left, the "Special Products Direct Sale Facility" sells sweets and liquor made from one of Hokkaido's leading locally-sourced Uryu rice and rice. It is a popular facility that also handles fresh vegetables and cut flowers harvested that day. The take-out corner is also substantial, and it is well received when you can enjoy a variety of flavors such as "Uryu rice ice cream" with rice grains on board and "Uryu rice fried kamaboko" which can be fried after receiving an order.
