Amakusa fresh

Amakusa's specialty, Tai-men, features chewy somen noodles and naturally grilled sea bream. This is the only place in Amakusa where you can enjoy this. The freshness of the sea bream is exceptional, and the somen cooked in bonito and kelp broth is especially delicious when served warm (reservation required). The lunch menu also includes a variety of daily set meals.

A seafood restaurant "Amakusa Nama Uni Honpo Maruken Suisan." You can enjoy uni bowls made with fresh Amakusa sea urchin available throughout the year, as well as seafood bowls filled with exceptionally fresh seafood. The seasonal uni bowl, generously topped with rich Amakusa uni, and the seafood bowl piled high with a variety of seafood are each priced from 1,870 yen. The popular menu item, the "Bukkake Uni Don Set," includes an uni bowl along with sashimi, small dishes, salad, and miso soup, starting at 3,560 yen. Don't miss the uni croquettes served with a special uni sauce. A 500 yen discount is available for a dolphin watching and lunch set with advance reservation.

Located near the Amakusa Seto-Ohashi Bridge, which connects Kamishima and Shimoshima, the restaurant boasts seafood, mainly natural products such as Okoze and sea bream from Amakusa, as well as Ise shrimp. The natural fish caught in the rich fishing area, the Amako Nada, can be swam in a fish pen, and the fish is cooked to be the most delicious when you put it in your mouth. The top of the raw sea urchin from Amakusa is 2860 yen, and the sashimi set meal with the hail is 2200 yen to 3300 yen. There are also local dishes of Kumamoto, such as horse stinging and spicy lotus roots. There is also a parlor connecting a houseboat.
