Sanbonmatsu Chaya

About 150 years old, the Sanbonmatsu Chaya, which was founded in 1871 (Meiji 4), has the oldest long-established history in Oku-Nikko. Since ancient times, many travelers have been familiar as a stop-by place in the battlefield while watching the safety of hospitable travel. The landscape, which has been colored by the magnificent nature of Oku-Nikko, gives comfort and emotion to travelers who stop by, and is perfect for a break on the way. In the cafeteria, where you can overlook Mt. Otai on the entire surface, you can enjoy dishes prepared with Oku Nikko's natural water. In addition, at the stand, you can buy souvenirs that will be a memory of your trip with a rich selection of products, mainly pickles. The specialty is 540 yen.

Dragon Tono Chaya

A teahouse that has been run as a place of peace for travelers since the time of the inferno-chaya, which was noted in the "Nikkōzanshi" journal of the late Edo period. It is located near the waterfall of "Ryūkō Waterfall", one of the three famous waterfalls of Oku Nikko, and the entrance of the promenade that walks to the top of the waterfall with a view of 210m long. At the teahouse, you can enjoy a meal and shopping while looking at the Longstag Falls, which are colored with fresh green and autumn leaves. The specialty is a teahouse specialty, such as Ozō-ni and Shiyō-dango, and the souvenir is popular, including Nikko no Yuba, as well as Higurashi rice cakes and original straps, which are sold exclusively at teahouse. At the teahouse's "Coffee Stand", you can taste matcha with Higurashi rice cakes and coffee brewed with clear streams.

Coffee House Yukon

A coffee house directly managed by Chuzenji Kanaya Hotel. In front of Lake Chuzenji, you can eat gracefully in a log house made of Canadian wood. Popularity is the 100-year rice curry, which revived the Taishō-era recipe of the Nikko Kanaya Hotel, as well as the yashiomat fly sand. There is also a takeout menu, recommended for walking around Oku Nikko.

Coffee Shop Spoon

There is a coffee shop where you can relax while looking at Lake Chuzenji just below the window. There is a drink menu such as Blended Coffee 495 yen, and some snacks. There is also a nostalgic taste such as Neapolitan 935 yen. Various code payments are available, credit cards are not available, and there is no free Wi-Fi.

Handmade Taste of Tullow

The most popular lunch is "Ginger-yaki-don", and "Yubi and Mushroom Cream Spaghetti" is also popular. At night, many shops are not open, such as nearby stores, but at 21:30 LO turn into a izakaya where you can drink alcohol.

Paulownia

A shop that boasts a secret soup made without the use of any chemical seasoning, homemade soba noodles with koshi, and udon noodles, beside the Kegon Falls. Because it is homemade, it will be closed as soon as the noodles run out, so I want to stop in the early hours. Recommended is Mini Tendon Mori Set 1700 yen, Yuba set meal 1700 yen, and the original Yubadon of this shop with rice and rice with Trotoro's Tamami paste 1200 yen.

Lake Sunlight

The restaurant, which is located in Pension Lakes, can be used by non-guests. The specialty is 3300 yen, a clay-pot beef stew made of tochigi wagyu beef. The rich demi-glass sauce, which is made of meat and several kinds of vegetables, is a perfect dish.

Restaurant in the world

A dining hall halfway between the pleasure boat station at Lake Chuzenji and the Kegon Falls. There are the main dishes of Nikko specialty yuba, such as fried rice noodles and yunami sashimi, yuba toro gozen with small pots of yunami tsukudani, yuba soba noodles served with fried rice waves, and rice noodles with rice noodles. There are also seats.
