Sweetener Canon

In a well-maintained garden or a tea ceremony in a field spot, the illusion is that you are in Kyoto. The interior is elegantly decorated with garden flowers, and you can admire the owner's sense. Autumn to winter are recommended, and spring to summer are recommended.

Aqua World Oarai Food Court

Aqua World Gourmet spot in a free zone attached to the entrance of the Oarai Aquarium in Ibaraki Prefecture. The food court is packed with 10 self-style eateries with a wide variety of products, mainly from local Oarai, and two souvenir shops selling Oarai's sea products. Meals are available on the terrace as well as about 170 seats in the food court. While looking out at the Pacific Ocean, I want to enjoy snacks such as menus and curries using fresh sea happiness with the scent of Isso.

Kobashi-tei

A graceful adult meal of only five pairs each day and night in a western theater surrounded by trees. The dishes are Italian-based, only the chef's omakase course, which uses local ingredients such as vegetables and seasonal seafood.

Oarai-cho Fishing Co-Operative Store Ka-chan's Store

A shop where you can enjoy a reasonable meal of fresh ground fish dishes by the Oarai-cho Fisheries Co-operative Women's Department. The recommendation is "Oshimi set meal", which is made of five types of fish sashimi, mainly white ground fish that were washed in Oarai Port, for 1800 yen. "Raw Shirasadon set meal" with plenty of crystal clear natural whitebait 1300 yen (may not be depending on fishing). In addition, you can enjoy Oarai's seafood with the taste of your mother, such as Kachan Gozen and Toochan Gozen 1800 yen each.

Oarai Seabin Market, Ushitin Donburi-tei

大洗港から水揚げされた鮮魚、しらす干し、自家製干物などを豊富に取り揃えている。春はハマグリ、夏は岩カキ、秋は戻りカツオ、冬はあんこうと四季折々の大洗の味覚が楽しめる。ハマグリ、ホタテ、エビ、イカなどを買ったその場で焼いて食べられる。隣接する海鮮どんぶり亭のスペシャル海鮮丼も大人気。煮魚、焼き魚、刺身定食、お子様用も用意してある。

Sea rice house Isogiku

創業100年の鮮魚問屋直営の食事処。明るい雰囲気の店内で、定番の7種盛りの刺身定食や15品目の海鮮丼など、リーズナブルな値段で味わうことができる。サイドメニューも豊富。

Iso Cuisine Sansui

太平洋に面し、大洗磯前神社の神磯まで見渡せる眺望の店。刺身と単品を組み合わせたセット定食(1780円~)や、刺身定食(1850円)などが評判。10~3月(変動あり)は、アンコウ鍋もおすすめ。予約不可。

Inaka

大洗の住宅地の一角、道の奥まったところに立つ、モダンな外観の店。足を踏み入れると、窓から見える庭の緑と主人セレクトのアートが調和した、開放的な空間が広がる。茨城の地場野菜と大洗の地魚を使ったランチの井中膳2200円は、一品一品が小鉢や小皿に少しずつ盛り付けられ、彩りが美しく繊細な味わい。夜はミニ懐石コース4400円~(要予約)。お米は無農薬、野菜も有機野菜が多い。

Western food restaurant Okatei

洋食一筋の主人が自宅の一部を使って開店。人気メニューは、長時間煮こんだビーフシチュー2100円とジューシーなハンバーグステーキ1200円。

Taste Omori

夏は岩ガキ、冬はアンコウ、一年を通じてイワシが食べられる和食店。刺身はもちろん、懐石という七品からの料理はイワシを堪能できるお得なコース。また毎日水揚げされる大洗の地魚も入荷によって季節を感じる事ができる。更に最近では座敷の上のテーブル席がメインになり、年配者や外国人にも対応している。
