Local cuisine Hisashi Nabe

You can taste the taste of Lake Akan, such as smelt and himee trout; Wakasagi Tendon 860 yen, and princess trout and Ikuradon 1940 yen, which are topped with trout and rainbow trout, are popular; and Wakasagi Tenzaru 1290 yen, which is hand-hit with stone-ground soba flour from Horoka.

Unusual Ainu dishes such as Ainu cuisine set meals using venison and salmon are available. Popular Ainu cuisine set meal Yuk (deer) set is recommended.

The store where you can see the sky

The specialty is Tanpachi Curry 1490 yen, which is named after Tsurui Village, known as the habitat of the Japanese cranes. It blends yogurt and coconut milk made from Tsurui Village's milk, as well as several kinds of herbs.

Woody Hotel & Restaurant Dream Studio

A hotel restaurant where you can relax in a homely space while savoring the fresh air in the deep forest. There is also a sale of original cakes. Two meals per night are 16,500 yen per person.

Log Cabin

The Log House coffeehouse on the east side of the Syraltoro marsh, along Route 391. The popular menu is sausage curry with handmade sausage using Akan pork for 880 yen. Sausage that uses a lot of spices and herbs and is sprinkled with cherry chips is full of umami. You can also taste the platter.

Bistro cafe de Sangria two

The jazz-flowing shop has a calm atmosphere in which you can feel the warmth of the tree; the menu is a Japanese beef beef 100 percent hamburger beef with raclette cheese and a Japanese beef stew with homemade demi sauce; handmade bread and homemade smoked are very popular.

Ramen Pavilion

There is a lot of independent staff here, so it is also called Shugaien-kei. The soup, which is fragrant and firm with seafood, has a taste that sets it apart from the easy-going Kushiro ramen. It tastes as good as it gets tangled in crisp, finely shredded noodles. Positive oil, salt and miso ramen 850 yen each, and kaki ramen 1400 yen.
