Day-trip hot springs Wangyozhuang

Day-trip bathing is possible at the national lodging Moyo-so in the beautiful scenery of Tachibana Bay and Obama Onsen, which is rich in hot water. In a large bathhouse, which is spacious with high ceilings, there is a whirlpool bath for each of the men and women, and there is an open-air bath with a height of more than 4m. You can also take a break from 7:30 to 16:30.

The water of the water

The scenic Obama Onsen on the west side of the Shimabara Peninsula, facing Tachibana Bay. A fully-leased open-air bath on the seaside at the southern end of that spa town. Immediately below the large Yushen built on the wave block outside the breakwater is a wavy sea, where you can enjoy the dynamic expanse of the sea and the superb view, and the hot springs of sodium chloride spring. Yunsen Municipal Community Baths Hama no Yu

Municipal communal bathhouse in Obama Onsen. The appearance of an old bath bath makes you feel the history. Because of the chloride spring, the hot water warms from the core of the body and lasts longer. The bathroom is built with plenty of room, and there are hot and lukewarm tubs for both men and women.

Seaside inn and inn

Day bathing is possible at a long-established tsutaya inn that has been open for a long time in Obama Onsen. "Tachibana-zuken", a 150-tsubo large bathhouse, has a neyu, a sauna, a water bath, an rock bath, and an open-air bath, each single-sex. In addition, the view of Tachibana Bay from the five open-air baths on the rooftop is stunning, and this one is also available for day use.

Orange Gelato

The original gelato (400 yen for singles, 500 yen for doubles, 650 yen for triples) made from vegetables and fruits taken from the Shimabara Peninsula, including Obama salt and Unsencha tea, is sold. Popular is 350 yen for one piece of rice ice with gelato sandwiched between Obama's specialty Yusenpai.

Obama goods

The illustrated towel (300 yen) designed by former U.S. President Obama, who is soaking comfortably in a hot spring, is well received by foreign tourists. It is sold by the Obama Onsen Tourist Association and at the Ashiyu (105).

Unzen City Obama Historical Museum

It is touched by the history of Obama Onsen. Yudayu Exhibition Hall [Yudayu Tenjikan], which introduces the footprints of Honda Yudayu [Honda Yudayu Yu], who laid the foundation of Obama Onsen, you can tour the historical materials exhibition house [Rekishiri Chotenjikan], which recreates the style of the old hot springs town such as the Noren and the series. It takes 20 minutes.

Mizuho Onsen Thousand Years of Hot Water

A hot spring facility located within Mizuho Sukoyaka Land, complete with accommodation, multi-purpose ground, tennis courts, indoor pool, and more, at the northern end of the Shimabara Peninsula. There are two types, a cypress bath and a rock bath, and both sexes are replaced every week. In each of the bathhouses, there is a hot tub and a sauna, and you can overlook the Ariake Sea from the open-air bath. A wide rest room is also provided.

Chizoku Tourism Center

There is a large observation deck with a view of the cove of Tachibana Bay and the Chizoku swimming beach, and in the distance, a large observation deck with a full view of Mount Yunsen Fukendake and Heisei Shinzan. It is recommended to enjoy the view slowly while eating the specialty takeout gourmet "Jaga-chan" 200 yen per skewer. The concession stands are lined with "Nagasaki Castella", which is a brag of craftsmen who are particular about ingredients, as well as souvenir items from Nagasaki. In addition, the familiar "Champon" is very popular in the cafeteria.

Yamamoto Museum of Art

A museum located on a high ground overlooking Tachibana Bay; exhibits works related to Nagasaki, including prints by Nagasaki-based artist Kan Ozaki and works by Inokawa-yaki's beef kiln; a seasonal exhibition is also held; and the attached tea room offers a view of Tachibana Bay from a window seat.
