嘉吉元年(1441)に創建された曹洞宗の古刹。文政7年(1824)に建てられた本堂に楠材を多く使っていることから伊予の楠寺とも呼ばれる。また、曹洞宗の本山永平寺を模していることから「伊予のミニ永平寺」とも呼ばれている。広い境内には本堂・禅堂・開山堂・霊集堂などが回廊で結ばれ、御開山一代記などの寺宝も多い。毎年3月15日に行われる涅槃会[ねはんえ]では稚児行列などがあり、内子の春の名物行事として知られている。平成10年(1998)建立の長さ10m、重さ200トンの巨大な石造涅槃仏もみどころ。

内子の町から10kmほど麓川をさかのぼったところにある、棚田の田園風景が広がるエリア。地元の人々が作った石畳清流園では、昔ながらの3基の水車が復元され、農家の管理の下で精米が行われている。麓川上流ではホタルが舞うことでも知られ、6月上旬ごろが一番の見ごろだ。ここから30分ほど歩くと室町時代創建の弓削神社がある。交流拠点である石畳の宿をベースに散策するのがおすすめ。

県立自然公園四国カルスト内にあり、手つかずの自然が楽しめるスポット。秋にはカエデ、シオジ、ケヤキなどの紅葉で彩られる。

内子町の市街地南東に姿を見せる大登山。その麓を流れる柿原川で幻想的な光を放つゲンジボタルを観賞することができる。

The first year of Yasunaga (1772), which has a history of 240 years since its inception. The homemade bean has an elegant color of light purple and has a neat sweetness. It is well received locally as "you can eat any number of this" for 180 yen each.

The store always sells more than 35 kinds of cakes. The popular "Afternoon Cheese" 140 yen (plus tax) can enjoy the moist texture of half-life.

A long-established company known as the third year of founding Keiyo (150 + years). 150 yen for each "Shiokumi" with the benefits of the Emperor and Empress's purchase, 150 yen for Kimpa-style Japanese confectionery made with fertilizer in Azuki, Bichu Daigaku, and 150 yen for each "Iwakura Taiko", pie buns made of Hokkaido Tokatsu red bean zukari and chopped walnuts wrapped in puff pastry. Other specialty Japanese sweets are prepared.

A chicken-based take-home specialty store located in the Sakaemachi shopping street extending from JR Kawanoe Station. The standard is 500 yen per fried foot bird, which is a local specialty, and 110 yen for one of the 50-year-old popular mince cutlet, which is eaten with a secret sauce on a dumpling of minced chicken fried in oil. They can be fried any time after 15 o'clock.

東予地方の特産品であるえびちくわは、瀬戸内の小えびと自家製豆腐と白身魚のすり身で作った、ピンク色のふわふわの食感が特徴のちくわ。特撰えびちくわは1本180円。手造りの天ぷら70円～は、週替わりで10種類以上が揚げたてで並んでいる。

標高1000mに位置するアウトドアプレイゾーンで、夏の避暑地としても人気のスポット。アウトドア設備が充実しているため初心者から上級者まで楽しむことができる。絶景を楽しめるグランピング施設も併設。
