Onomichi walk

Speaking of Onomichi, it is also known as a location for movies such as "Transfer Student", "Futari", "That Summer Day-Tonde Lo-chan", so it is only if you walk around Onomichi. Former residence of Kenkichi Nakamura

In one of the onomichi literary houses, the house of the Araragi poet Nakamura Kenkichi Kazumi, who visited Onomichi for sick care at the end of 1933 (Showa 8); it is a tour of only the exterior, and the material is displayed in the Literature Memorial Room.

Osode Tenma Palace

Except for the second row from the top, it is known for its 55 beautiful stone steps made of single stone with a seamless width of 5.2m. In "Transfer Student", the most important scene was shot, in which Kazuo and Kazumi hugged and fell, and the two bodies were replaced. In recent years, it has been said that there are benefits of all kinds of connections, as well as applications for academic fulfillment and passing. It is reputed to be cute for the "Sode no Incense", which is unique to the Osodo Tenma Palace, with one sleeve of Michizane as the sacred body.

Tianyongji Sea Cloud Tower

It was built as a five-storied pagoda in 1388 in Jiqing 2 (1388), and in 1692, the upper double was removed and changed to a three-storied pagoda. It often retains its original architectural appearance incorporating the Zen style in the Japanese style, and has been designated as an important cultural property of the country. Height is 25m.

Jikko-ji Temple

The temple of the Jodo sect in the year of Seiwa (834-848). The silk book coloring of the temple treasure Fugen Enmei Bodhisattva Image is a national treasure. Kaifuku Temple

The temple of the Tokimune, which is said to be about 400 years old, is a festival of the three heads of bandits who haunted Onomichi during the Edo period, and is said to benefit from the disease from the neck up.

Gon Shrine

Onomichi's oldest shrine in history. In "The Girl Who Takes Time," a scene was filmed in which the main character, who became a time traveler, meets his parents with his own child. The 900-year-old Ōkusu, who thrives to cover the shrine, is mysterious.

Pom Pom Rock

千光寺山にある名勝「鼓岩」。石でたたくと「ポンポン」と鳴ることから地元っ子の間では「ポンポン岩」と呼ばれる。大阪城築城の時に石垣の材料として割ったノミの跡がついていると言われている。
