竹原の歴史ある酒蔵・藤井酒造の蔵の一部を利用したスペース。純米吟醸から季節限定品まで常時3～5種類の日本酒を試飲できるほか、酒蔵そば処たにざき(営業時間：11時～14時30分、その他の時間は要予約)も併設している。また、酒かすを使った化粧石鹸や小物、関連商品も購入できる。

本町通りの北側に位置する胡堂は、大林宣彦監督の映画『時をかける少女』でもお馴染みのスポット。建築は、前室付一間社流造りで、竹原の小祠中、最大の規模を持っており最も古く、江戸時代中期のものと考えられる。
