感性豊かな立像や壁画を制作、岡山県芸術文化賞などを受賞している笠岡市在住の若手造形家・川埜龍三氏のオフィシャルギャラリー。立体作品に加え、版画や陶芸作品、小品も展示されている。作品集・グッズも販売。

岡山県の地史、動物、昆虫、植物の4つのテーマで構成。人と自然との関わりなどを紹介している。動き鳴くナウマンゾウの親子が大人気。所要1時間。

新田や塩田開発で財を成し、幕末には庄屋も兼ねていたほどの豪商だった大橋家。主屋は五本格子の倉敷窓を持つ厨子2階建てで、国の重要文化財。代官所の許可がなければ建てられなかった長屋門を構えていることから格式の高さを感じとれる。

明治39年(1906)設立の歴史ある教会。国の登録有形文化財。礼拝堂は大正12年(1923)建築で、壁には笠岡諸島・北木島産の御影石を使用しており、趣ある姿が印象的だ。隣のキリスト会館に、信者でなくても利用できるカフェがある。

遠くからよく見える丸い屋根の多目的グラウンド・和気ドームがアクセスの目印。大人気のミニSLやゴーカートに乗ったり、ローラー滑り台のある芝生広場でのびのびと遊べる。有料遊具(ミニSL、ゴーカート)は土・日曜、祝日、8月13～16日及び1月2・3日のみ営業。園内には本物そっくりの踏切があって、気分も盛り上がる。工房でパン作りなどの手作り体験(土・日曜、祝日13時30分～、1人500円・要予約0869-93-0755)にもトライしてみよう。

It is located on Kakui Island, where guests can stay in a pit-style dwelling or a stilt-style dwelling that reproduces the Jōmon and Yayoi periods. You can experience the lives of ancient people such as burning and making earthenware, and you can also enjoy swimming and canoeing. All tours, meals, and accommodation (from 6000 yen per person) are reserved. If you make a reservation, you will leave the ship, but be careful because you cannot go by regular ship. An archipelago of 13 islands, large and small, in Nissei-cho, Bizen, a natural island that is mostly designated as a national park.

The population is the largest in the Nissei Islands. There is a walking path, many people visit rock fishing, mandarin oranges, sea bathing, and experience bottom-catching fishing. We also want to extend our feet to the Oshima Observatory on Mount Tanuki, a 15-minute walk from the pier.

It is the largest island in Okayama Prefecture, 28km around. The island is half home to wild deer and pheasants in the special bird beast sanctuary. It is popular to hunt oranges in autumn.

日生諸島最南端の島で、江戸時代に池田藩の番所が置かれた。国の文化建造物に指定された元禄防波堤、御用船に飲水を提供した六角大井戸、昭和61年(1986)に復元された燈籠堂などの史跡が残る。南海岸の遊歩道には勘三郎洞窟などの洞窟や奇岩が続く。
