Road Station Kaki no Kimura

Roadside station located along National Route 187, which connects Iwakuni to Tsuwano. The specialty goods sales office is full of body-friendly ingredients and processed products, including pesticide-free and chemical-free fertilizer vegetables and rice. Handmade miso that does not use any additives is gaining in popularity. At the restaurant "Gohan-ya Kakinoki-mura", rice, miso soup and side dishes like those on the dining table of a farmer are served in a simple manner. It is reputed to enjoy a relaxing meal in the parlor seat.

Roadside Station Tsuwano Onsen Nagomi no Sato Asagiri no Uto

A day-trip hot spring facility located within the roadside station Tsuwano Onsen Nagomi no Sato. There are two types, Japanese and Western-style, with large bathtubs, barrel baths, far-infrared saunas, and water baths in the Japanese-style style, and large bathtubs, Jacuzzi mistsaunas, and tuseiyu in the Western-style. Takatsuya Ito Hiroshido

Yamada Taketohe Main Store Honmachi Store

明治初期創業の源氏巻の老舗。餡はこし餡で1本270円。おみやげ向けにひと口サイズにカット、個別包装してある源氏草子6個入り720円もある。栗をつぶ餡の中に入れカステラ状の生地ではさんだ栗御門1本900円。

Minetsutou

津和野名物・源氏巻はこし餡が一般的だが、ここではつぶ餡入りもある。1本270円。包装を開けると、食べやすいように三等分されている。香ばしい焦がし皮に小倉餡を詰めた、最中・城山日記8個入り1510円、古式ゆかしい鷲舞に想いを馳せ、白い求肥の皮に薄紅色の梅肉餡を包んだ銘菓・鷲しぐれ8個入り1545円もおすすめ。

Flavor Garden

「津和野特産 ざら茶」の製造販売元の老舗。店舗では和・洋のハーブと茶葉を使った季節のブレンド茶の取り扱いも。ざら茶はマメ科カワラケツメイを焙じたもので、藩政時代よりこの地方で飲まれる健康茶。ノンカフェイン×国産×栽培期間中無農薬のざら茶はデトックス効果でも注目され、こうばしい香りと優しい甘みで赤ちゃんから高齢の方まで幅広く愛飲されている。和・洋の茶葉やハーブから、好きな香り・味・身体に合う茶葉で組み合わせてつくるオーダーメイド茶(#MYCHA)の販売や無料試飲も実施。津和野観光の際に是非立ち寄ってみて。ざら茶270円(70g入)、MYCHA700円(50g入)~。

Branch Copper Shichiemon

分銅屋には、既に元禄10年(1697)の津和野藩の絵図面に現在と同じ形の屋敷が記載されており、享保2年(1717)の記録では津和野藩の御用商人として登場する。当主は代々「分銅屋七右衛門」を襲名し、当代で21代目。母屋は嘉永6年(1853)に津和野城下を襲った大火直後、火事後普請で建設したもので、国の登録文化財。江戸時代の町屋の様式を保っており、中庭など一部を予約制で公開している。髪付けや和蝋燭を製造販売していたが、最近では文香、線香、匂袋、便箋、絵葉書、熨斗袋、和蝋燭などの和小物を販売している。登録有形文化財の一室で庭(登録記念物指定)を眺めながら、煎茶体験もできる。事前予約制なので電話で問い合わせを。

Gallery Kunsthof Tsuwano

A gallery and workshop of Atsuko Nakao, a daily exhibition writer and a potter of yugame kilns, and his second son, Shigeru Nakao, who is active as a painter in Germany. Nakao's pottery uses original soil containing four kinds of pottery and is baked without using glaze. A pattern of cracks being born on the surface, "riffles", is flamboyant. 10,000 yen ~. There are many works with cherry blossom motifs, such as a small dish of golden cherry blossom, 1000 yen ~. There are also 500 yen ~ and cute pendant 1000 yen ~.
