The whole area of Minami-Ise is rich in nature, agriculture, forest and fisheries resources, and the living of the sea and the mountains coexist. At Minami-Ise Experience World, where you can experience the life of such a Gokasho Bay, you can enjoy learning about fishing experiences, farming experiences, and food culture experiences (reservations required).

Ise Museum of Contemporary Art

Inside the Ise-Shima National Park, a museum with views of Gokasho Bay. Along with the beautiful nature, you can enjoy the exhibition of works by writers from Japan and abroad, mainly contemporary art, and young writers. In the annex's sculpture hall, "Uku [Ukuu]", unique three-dimensional works are displayed in an indoor and outdoor space that is shrouded in silence. There is also a museum shop that sells miscellaneous goods and accessories, and a cafe where you can view the garden and the sea.

Theatres in Aizu

It displays material related to Aikasai, the founder of the Aikage-ryū, the source of the Japanese kendo, and also holds a number of valuable folk materials, including agricultural tools, fishing gear, and ancient documents, which convey the historical culture of the town.

Village of Ashima

A village park that maintained the area around the site of the Gokasho Castle, which was the residence of the Aizu clan, a royal family that flourished from the North and South Dynasties to the Sengoku period. There are objects such as the temple of Aizu, the site of the Gokasho Castle, the old well, and the statue of a beef demon, which introduced materials about Kenso Aisai and traditional performing arts in the town.

Nankai Observation Park

Panorama Observation Park located on Mount Sazaraura, at an altitude of about 150m, west of Wabushi and Kanana Gokasho Bay. When you climb the steep stairs, there is an observation deck, from which you can see such places as Gokasho Bay on the varied Rias coast and Aiga Niwa Beach, which has a white arc. The park has information boards indicating the direction of major cities in the world. The bench is also placed, so it's good to take a break. Gardenia, magnolia and Yoshino cherry blossoms in the season on the surrounding promenade.

Cormorant Park

It is situated on a high ground at an altitude of 191m and has four observation decks named Kasaragi, Miejima, Tachibana and Akebono. From each you can see the Rias coastline and the red parent bridge over Asoura. Limited to 14-15 hours in December/January, 50-70 shrimp fishing boats leave at the same time in the bay of niewan, and the blue sea becomes white in the wake in an instant. This sight is worth a look, and the Kasaragi Observatory is the perfect point.

Sennomiya Shrine

Climbed a long staircase, on a small hill. It is a festival of Ise Shrine and is closely related to the Outer Palace of Ise Shrine. Many of the sacred treasures involved in the auspices were washed out in the tsunami of the first year of Ansei (1854), and now only Senmiya Hibun remains. Colourful paintings related to Hyakunin Isshu and Heavenly Iwato are dedicated to the Emaden, which is very nice to see.

Sanki Fisheries

One piece of fish taken in the waters near Shima is hand-opened, and dried in the sun is full of umami. There are many kinds of mackerel and dried squid overnight, so you can choose between soy sauce and saltiness. Gift set 2000 yen ~.

Percentage Fisheries (Yes)

Fish and seafood, such as fresh iseh shrimp and anori fugu, which are washed up in the near sea, are sold. I would like to buy the 18,000 yen (2-3 servings) of the Fuku full course, which includes sashimi, fugu chiri, fugu skin, and special ponzu vinegar on five fugu fins.

Anjozaki Lighthouse

It is a white lighthouse with a square that is rare in Japan at the tip of Anjozaki, and it was the stage of the movie "Joy and Sorrow Are Years". It is a pioneering Japanese lighthouse, and has already had a lighthouse since the Edo period, and an octagonal wooden lighthouse was installed in 1873. The lighthouse that currently illuminates the sea was converted in 1948. The surrounding area is a grass-lined park, and you can take a break while looking at the Pacific Ocean in rough seas and the gentle waves of Matoya Bay. In the park, there is the Anjozaki Lighthouse Museum, which introduces a model of the old lighthouse and the history of the lighthouse.
