A town-run spot near the Onjuku Central Beach. There are various pools in the park, three of which are popular among children: a curved slider sliding down a thrilling cornering 74m in total length, a river down slider sitting on a large floating wheel and sliding down, and a straight slider with plenty of speed falling at a height of 9.5m. There is also a running water pool with a total length of 127m, a fountain pool, and an infant pool, which can be enjoyed widely by children and adults.

シーズン中は多くの人で賑わう。海岸全体で約800m続く白い砂浜はとてもキメ細かでサラサラ。童謡『月の沙漠』のモデルにもなった。ビーチバレー大会が開催され、遊泳区域外ではマリンスポーツが盛んだ。

御宿海岸をモチーフにした抒情的な名曲「月の沙漠」を作曲した加藤まさを。加藤は大正から昭和にかけて詩・画から音楽にまで活躍した早熟の天才芸術家で、晩年に御宿町で暮らした。旧宅にあったかとう愛用のバイオリンなどの楽器や机などの家具、帽子などの日用品などの遺品を展示する。外観は月の沙漠に合わせたアラビア宮殿のようにエキゾチックで、海岸の風景によく似合う。記念館から見る「月の沙漠像」の姿は絶景で、訪れた人の旅情を誘う。お土産コーナーが充実し、野外のステージではイベントも開催。

御宿町の歴史と民俗を紹介する資料館。付近から出土した縄文時代後期の土器を展示する歴史コーナーや、海女が盛んだった時代に使用された海女具式や農具を展示する産業コーナー、唐傘、高下駄、徳利、長火鉢などの日常生活品を展示する民俗コーナーなどがある。江戸時代や世界各国の教科書、姉妹都市メキシコ・アカプルコとの交流関係資料も展示する。

慶長14年(1609)、スペイン領フィリピン総督一行を乗せた帆船サンフランシスコ号が、メキシコに向かう途中に岩和田沖で遭難。村民の救助によって、乗員373人中317人が助かった。これを機にスペインやメキシコとの交流が始まり、その友好の証として昭和3年(1928)に建てられたのがこの記念塔。天に向かってそそり立つ高さ17mの塔は、町のシンボルになっている。また、塔が立つ高台の公園からは、御宿の町並みと海岸線を一望できる。

江戸時代中期の享保8年(1723)創業の蔵元。江戸時代に建てられたという総茅葺屋根の本宅の建物がひときわ目を引く老舗の造り酒屋で、酒蔵には100本以上の酒樽が置かれ、普通酒から純米、純米吟醸、大吟醸、熟成古酒など多彩な醸造を手掛けている。事務所内では販売もしており、おすすめはすっきりと飲みやすい岩の井純米吟醸原酒や、上品な香りが人気の岩の井山廃純米大吟醸など。「岩の井・赤ラベルシリーズ」や「千葉ロッテマリーンズ」シリーズなども人気。

A long-established Japanese confectionery store founded in the Meiji era, set up along a prefectural road that leaves the old style of Otaki. One hundred thousand thousand stone Otaki Dorayaki, which is as large as 10cm in diameter, 170 yen (plus tax), comes in two kinds of chestnuts and plums. Imo Yokan (limited to September to late November) with Otaki Castle on the surface is 1500 yen (plus tax) in a heavy box.

A wagashi-style Japanese confectionery store, which has a reputation as a specialty confectionery, 170 yen for one hundred thousand thousand stones, has plenty of grain bean paste boiled over an open fire.

A historic sake brewery founded around the first year of Tenmei (1781-88). The main house standing along the national highway is also registered as a national tangible cultural property. There is a direct sale shop in the back of the main house, where you can buy a variety of local sake.

A local railway with a total length of 26.8km between Ohara Station on the JR Sotobo Line and Kazusa-Nakano Station in Otaki-cho; a green line on a yellow body; and familiar to many by the nickname of "Itetsu".
