Locks

There is a small, wide space that has become plateaus midway between Nagasawa Shindo. It is located on a steep slope that continues quite a long way from Osegahara, and it is a good square to put a rucksack and take a break. It is said that you can see Mount Shibutsu on the west slope, but you can hardly see it because it is surrounded by trees.

Sanpei Lower

On the banks of Ozenuma, which came down from the Sanpei Pass. On the square with wooden tables and benches, hikers can always be seen taking a break while enjoying the landscape. Here is a view point where Mount Hiyunga can be seen large over the swamp. You can enjoy the appearance of the remaining snow in the early summer, the summer dyed green, and the autumn in front of the orange burning grass maple.

Konuma Moor

The marsh is located about 200m from Nujiri-daira into the southern shore road. A beautiful swamp is seen and hidden in the tree between the trees on the left. I want to stop near the swamp, but it is surrounded by conifers and there is no way.

Oyama Sawada

Oyamasawada, which has a wonderful view of Nikkorenzan, is known from late June to mid-July for its beautiful view of the white fruit ears of cotton sedge in the wind. In addition, the appearance of dainty moor plants such as the wagtail and chingulma can be seen. There is a water field that is the source of Oyamazawa, which flows into the Kawakami River when it exits the moor.

Great clean horizontal

The marsh is located on the middle of the Ozenuma South Shore Road, on the mountain road from the Osei Horizontal Branch and climbing a steep slope. There are people who mistake it as the road to Oshimizu, but the road leading to the Fujimi Pass continues. Since there are few people who pass the road ahead from Daesin Horizontal, the road is rough, so beginners should keep a round trip to Daesin Horizontal. Although Daesei is a small-scale moor surrounded by conifers such as Oshitai and Cometsuga, it can be met by a community of chunky, tawny midges. It is a water source that pours into Oze-numa, and you can see Mount Hiyunke over the head of the forest. Care must be taken not to deviate from the mountain trail when snow remains. About 20 minutes from the Oshimizu branch.

Large Shimizu Moor

A large moor spread beside the car park in Oshimizu. In Oze, the water petrels bloom at the earliest, and the flowers can be seen without having to walk across the pass. The wooden path here is devised in various ways, such as widening the width of the wooden path and setting the edge so that even people with disabilities can pass through a wheelchair. A public toilet in Oshimizu can also be used as a wheelchair.

Ayamehira

A marsh on a mountain that climbs up from Hatoyama Pass. When you stand on the peak of Nakahara, you can see the expanse of Ayamehira, which has a gentle curve. In the summer, you will be greeted by a flower garden of cotton sedge and nickweed with white ears fluttering in the wind, and kinkouka with yellow florets. You can see the mountains such as Mount Hiyunke and Mount Shibutsu ahead of you. From here on the wooden path for about 20 minutes, you will reach the square where the Fujimi hut stands.

Lizard rock

As you travel from Oyamasawadashiro down through the forest belt, your view will soon open, and you will come to a place where flower fields and small moors are spread. A huge lizard rock appears on the slope of the mountain to the right of the wooden road. From the top of this large rock, where the upper part is flat, you can enjoy the scenery of Osegahara and Mt. The group that left Hatomari Pass early in the morning often gets a lunch for breakfast here. After this, you will enter the forest of Oenbiso.

Fujimi Pass

On a sunny day, it was named because you can see Mt. Fuji far beyond the Katashina Valley and Mt. Akagi. In fact, the Fujimi Pass at an altitude of 1883m with a triangular point is surrounded by conifers, and the view is not good. The place where you can see Mount Fuji is a square in front of Fujimi's hut, which is located close to Ayamehira, about 5 minutes on foot from the pass. In the morning of a pleasant sunny day, a distinctive blue small silhouette can be seen far.

Hatoyama Pass

When approaching from the Tokyo metropolitan area, Iriyamaguchi is the most easy to go. The altitude is 1591m, and you can go down to Osegahara just by going down, and it is also a climbing entrance to Ayamedaira and Mt. The road leading from Togura to Hatomaki Pass is restricted from entering private cars during the season from Tsunagi on the way to protect the environment.
