A long-established chicken rice company founded in 1946, facing the port of Akagi Meiko on Amami Ōshima. The big chicken menu in front of the store is a mark. Chicken rice is a local dish representing Amami, and it is said that its origin was conceived about 400 years ago to entertain Satsuma officials. Kine Iwaki, the first of this shop, arranged chicken rice, which was like cooked rice, and created a style of eating chicken soup with ingredients on the current rice. 1100 yen for chicken rice, 1430 yen for a set with Amami specialty mozuku and 1500 yen for a set with pork bones. The pickled papaya garnish is also exquisite.
