Kōsakaya

A traditional thatched-roof farmhouse-style dining establishment. The interior is unified in a modern Japanese style, creating a stylish atmosphere. The local specialty, sauce katsudon, and Shinshu soba are highly praised, with the recommended dish being the "Kayabuki Gozen," which features katsudon made with South Shinshu pork and a secret sauce, served with homemade soba. The "Waraji Katsudon" is also popular. A foot bath (free) fed by the Hayataro Onsen next to the entrance is a highlight.

At the foot of Mount Komagatake, Central Alps, at an elevation of 800m. Minami Shinshu Beer is born at the Komagatake Brewery, which is located in the nature of the forest surrounded by clear air and Karamatsu forests. This beer, which boasts a rich aroma using good water pumped from 120m underground, can be fully enjoyed at the directly managed restaurant "Taste Kobo". In addition to dishes using fresh local ingredients, specialty gourmets such as "boiled beef soft beer" and Shinshu miso pizza, which are made from their own beer lavishly, are also popular.

The popular menu item is the sauce katsu don, a specialty of Komagane. Roast pork 1250 yen, fillet 1550 yen. The special sauce, based on soy sauce with a rich dashi flavor, is a taste unique to soba shops. There is also a variety of tea soba dishes, including matcha seiro soba for 700 yen.
