A forest bathing spot where you can observe giant trees of 200 to 600 years old, and horse chestnut trees. If you walk on a promenade of about 2km, you can meet the "Great Tochi of Inobushi", which was selected as one of the 100 giants of the forest.

It refers to the area around Ikunokoshi, located in the center of Shikoku Karst. In meadows as far as the view of the relatively flat mountaintop, cattle grazing takes place from spring to autumn, and you can enjoy idyllic landscapes. In summer, the flowers of alpine plants also bloom. There are also lodging facilities such as Hime Tsuruso, cottages and campsites where charcoal-grilled barbecue is a specialty.

The karst plateau, which is about 25km east-west and about 3km north-south, is home to a growing population of alpine plants, such as the northern part of the island, and where precious limestone plants can be found. You can get in touch with nature in the style of your choice, such as the drive of the Shikoku karst longitudinal line and the walking walk of various places.

A plateau that you can walk from Himetsudaira, located in the center of Shikoku Karst, while enjoying the limestone landscape. The apex is known as Gotanjo, with an elevation of 1456m. If the weather is good, you can see the entire area of Mount Ishikashin and Tosa Bay. Nearby are large and small dolines, the footprints of giants.

It is a mini-ranch with a fir tree, where ponies, goats and rabbits are kept. Souvenir items and sundries are sold at shops and cafes. Ice cream and cheesecake served at the cafe are recommended.

The old-growth forest of beech, called the mother of the forest, is well-maintained with a promenade of about 1.2km each way, and when you go to the back, you will see a line of old beech trees.

四国カルスト台地の西端にある高原畜産地帯。昭和25年(1950)から開拓され、現在は公共牧場も置かれている。数軒の店舗も点在し、自家製アイスクリームやチーズケーキを販売。

四国カルスト台地西端にある大野ケ原高原南部の尾根筋をいう。標高1402mの頂点付近は石灰岩のカーレンが点在している。源平合戦のころ、平家の残党が石灰岩を白馬に乗った源氏の大群と間違えて退散したという故事から名付けられた。県境にある山頂には、四国カルスト大師という石像が安置されている。

本流ルートを行くと蓬莱渓[ほうらいけい]、紅葉河原など景勝地の眺めが楽しめ、35分ほどで上熊渕[かみくまぶち]に出る。蓬莱渓から分かれる道を登ると亀腹展望台まで約40分。その先は鉄砲石川ルートに連結する。

櫃[ひつ]の底とよばれるU字型が特異な箱形渓谷や鎧岩などが見られる。鎧岩までは約25分。鉄砲石川キャンプ場から川添いに上ると対岸に見えるという鉱石の結晶も見ておきたい。
