Grandtaro Auto Camp

A campsite where you can relax and watch the sunset over the mountains and the sea. Swimming is prohibited in the sea in front of you, but you can enjoy throwing fishing for kissing. Rental items such as tents, tarps, and camp sets with BBQ stove sets are abundant, so beginners are safe. There is also a Jonohama swimming beach and a day-trip hot spring at Hotel Kiiza nearby.

Amoto Fishing Hori Center Masatoku Maru

A sea fishing moat that runs over land. It releases a wide variety of fish species such as amberjack, yellowtail, red sea bream, and hiramasa, which can be aimed at big players. The scaffolding is 3m wide, so there is little shaking. Enjoy comfortable fishing in a comfortable fishing area.

Furusato Beach

A scenic swimming beach with a view of the green Maruyama Island and Akano Island. There are about 6 guest houses around the area.

Road Station Ioshima Sunfish

An oasis of recreation on Kiichō Island located within the Kumanonan Linhai Park along Route 42, with 1200 items of local produce; and an abundance of fish shellfish.

Maetsu Pass

It is a popular pass in the Kumano Kodo Iseji, where you can enjoy beautiful cobblestones and cypress forests. The cobblestones, which are laid down to fold over heavy natural stones, have protected the road from the rain of the tail eagle, which is one of the top-rated in Japan. In addition, from the pass, there is a climbing course to Tengukurayama [Tengura-san] and Hyoshiyama [Binshiyama], so you can enjoy the view that spreads under your eyes, so if you can afford it, let's take a detour.

Katakami Pond Park

A park on the side of a large pond. The mountains of Kihoku are reflected on the surface of the water, and mallards and others play around in the winter. There is a long board walk on the shore, which is great for a walk.

Takatsuka Park Observation Deck

A spot where you can enjoy a superb view of Kumanonada called "Kii no Matsushima". From Route 42, turn left with a sign for "Toyoura Kaigan, Takatsuka Park". Head to the tip of the cape, climb the promenade from the parking lot along the road for about 10 minutes, and the chalk observation deck is in front of you.

Nagashima Castle Site

In the first year of Shitoku (1384), Kato Jinzamon [Katou Jinzemon], a vassal of Ise Kunishi Kitabatake Kenno [Kitatake Akiyoshi], is a castle castle. Now only a stone monument showing the castle remains on a hill at an altitude of about 100m, and you can overlook the townscape of Kumanonada and Nagashima.

Daisho Temple

A temple of the Soto sect known for its polar chromatic lattice paintings on the ceiling of Akabane Fudodo in the precinct. The ceiling is divided into 143 lattices, each of which is fitted with a pictorial drawing of a song and a picture of a hundred kasen in a polar chromatic color. The lattice paintings were dedicated by local people in the late Edo period and have been designated as a cultural property of the town.

Fish Town District

There are several coffee shops and shops selling dried fish. All dried fish in the sun look delicious. On the street stands a bronze statue of the spiritual master Hamaguchi Kumatake. Utilizing an old private house, there is a facility where residents of the fish town come to each other, and it is called the "fish town hangout". Nagashima Shrine has a tree with a tree height of 29.7m and a trunk length of 10m.
