Yoshiwara Gion Festival

The Gion Festival, Yoshiwara Gion Festival, is commonly known as the Otenonosan, and is a traditional festival that has been held for over 360 years. In the Yoshihara shopping district, the driving of the floats is carried out. The gorgeous floats full of individuality and the tone of the kōko blow away the plastness of the rainy season.

The 55th Kiso Lacquer Festival, Narai Inn Festival

In Kiso Hirasawa, the "Large Luseware City" is held over two days. The town is lined with 80-odd lacquerware shops, which are filled with lots of people, selling specialty items at great value prices by craftsmen. In addition, the exhibition and sale of masterpieces and diggers by traditional craftsmen and the Kiso lacquerware producers' union will also be carried out. Narai-juku will hold a "chōjō-do" on the 9th (Sun), which recreates the road line, carrying the Tokugawa Shōgun family's tea from Kyoto Uji via the Nakasendo and Koshu Kaido.

The Tenno Festival

Tochio TFestival

Tecumari has been inherited from grandmother to mother and daughter. 17th Plum Fair

In order to get to know the plum of Ogose, which boasts the prefecture's first largest harvest, the sale of fresh plums, processed plum products, local fresh vegetables and wild plants will be held on the day, as well as mock shops.

World Grand Prix of Cherry Selling

An event that competes to use the "Higune Cherry", known by the "Satoshiki", to blow the cherry seeds as far away as possible. There is a general section, a ladies' section and a children's section, and the participation award is "Higune Cherry". Flower and green festival 2024

A "flower and green festival" is held as a place to interact with beautiful flowers. Mt.

Mount Karakhat, which can be said to be a symbol of Noheji-cho. Aim at the summit of the mountain at an altitude of 719.6m while hoping for remaining snow in the fresh green. The view from the top is a different world. At the Karohat Shrine, which is located on the summit, a prayer for safety for climbers of the year will be held this year.
