Saihoji Temple

Uzumizakura in front of the main hall of Saihoji Temple is 1,300 years ago, when Emperor Tenmu gave a cherry tree with a light ink in honor of the Empress's prayer for illness. It is called. The scientific name is "Iyosuzumi", and the petals are small and elegant cherry blossoms. It has become a designated natural monument in Matsuyama City.

Hogon Temple

Emperor Tenji 4th year (665) The ancient temple that is transmitted as the Genjon. It was born to the Kono family, and is known as the birthplace of the Ippen Jinjin, the founding father of Tokimune. The precinct has a punctuation of "Irori-yaya ten-nare-hare-hare-to-autumn wind", which was chanted by Kōri, and there are other singing monuments such as Shigeyoshi Saito and Jun Kawada. Due to the fire in August 2013, the statue of the Kunigeki Bunki Wooden Ipenjinjin and the main hall of the main hall were burned down, but it was rebuilt in May 2016, and a new cast of the Ipenjinjin statue was erected, it is enshrined in the Ippen-Kamijindo. You can see Matsuyama Castle from the precincts, and it is a spot with a stunning view of the city of Matsuyama.

Hotaru View Park

In order to protect the "Manno Botaru", a type of Minamoto Botaru, which inhabits the area around Manen Pond, and to observe its appearance, it was maintained just below the Manen Pond embankment. You can enjoy seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms, buttons, soy sauce, hydrangea, and azalea. As you go along the promenade that leads to Manan Pond, you can see the Manan Pond, registered Tangible Cultural Property of the Agency for Cultural Affairs.

Swan Shrine

There is a mountain called Miyama [Miyama], which is called Japan's lowest mountain in the Shiratori Shrine/Shiratori no Matsubara, and its elevation is only 3.6m. It is a mountain named Rukitotita, which is also listed in the local history of the Meiji period and the city planning map of the former Shiratori town, with a column erected at the top. In addition, a climbing certificate can be received at the Swan Shrine Office. The swan-no-Matsubara is designated as "Seto Inland Sea National Park".

Falls of fixed

A waterfall derived from the legend that Fudō Myōō appeared during the training of the Hiroho Daishi; it is about 40m high and is also referred to as a five-fold waterfall because of its shape.

Saimyoji Temple

Locally, it is famous as Hagi-ji Temple; an ancient temple that is said to have been carved and enshrined as the main temple by Gyoki in the first year of Taiho (701).

Kokubunji Temple

In Tenpō 13 (741), the temple that Gyoki was opened by the Imperial Court of Emperor Shōmu. It is the 80th place of Shikoku Reiba. The area was designated as a National Special Historic Site, and the foundation stone of the Seven-storied Pagoda and the Kintō remain on the way from the Innongmen to the main hall (Important Cultural Property). I would also like to see the remains of the site of the Sanuki Kokubunji temple, which was maintained behind the temple, and the restored house.

Central Park

A vast park facing the Takamatsu City Hall, using the former site of the Takamatsu Central Stadium. The grounds will be dotted with 13 sculptures, including statues of writers and artists related to Kagawa, such as Hiroshi Kikuchi and Zoudani Tamakozo. There is no need for entrance fees, so let's feel free to enjoy the art work in the background of the scenery that changes with the season.

Yakuo Temple

The 23rd dasho of the Shikoku Reiba, which is transmitted to the beginning of Hongjin 6 (815). There are 33 stone steps to the main hall and 42 steps to the male, and worshipers of bad years can be seen climbing by placing coins at each step. In addition, there is Yugito (Yugito), which was built in commemoration of the year 1150 of Shikoku Reiba, when climbing 61 steps of Danjoyaku (Danjoyaku) slope.
