Moon Temple

It is nestled on a small hill north of Matsue-shinji Onsen. It was erected by Matsudaira Naomasa in the year of Kanbun 4 (1664) to mourn the bodhisattva of his mother, Tsuzuki-in, and later in the Bodaiji temple of the Matsudaira family. Tombstones from the first to the ninth generation are lined up at the temple, but those of the 6th generation Munenobu, which has a large turtle, are particularly noticeable. There is also a treasure hall with the goods of the feudal lord.

Patisserie Cool

It boasts sweets filled with the shopkeeper's thoughts of "I want to give you a little surprise." There are also popular sweets such as macaroons that have more than six kinds, and summer-happy jure. The most popular macaroons can enjoy a variety of flavors depending on the season. Original cakes that can fulfill the wishes of customers are also well received.

Shimane Swimming Pool

There is an outdoor 50m pool and an infant pool (July and August only) and an indoor 25m pool. The flying pool is used in various competitions, etc. (personal use is not allowed). There is also a training room (separate fee). Infants without diapers are not available.

Izumo Kanbe no Sato

Experience facilities that are transmitted to the Izumo region and are touched by folk tales and crafts. In the private hall, "Yoshiichi" by Yakumo Koizumi in three-dimensional footage will be screened. You can enjoy folk tales with the voice of the storyteller. At the craft hall, you can tour the production process of wicker crafts, woodworking, weaving, and ceramics, and you can also experience the production. In addition, a promenade will be maintained in the vast grounds, and the view from the observation deck is exceptional. At Kanbe Chaya (open only from 11:30 to 15:00 on Saturdays and Sundays and holidays), you can enjoy hand-hit Izumo soba. Open vegan restaurant on Wednesday and Thursday.

Chair of happiness

It is a bench in the Matsue Vogel Park on the north shore of Lake Shinji, surrounded by flower arches. It is said that if lovers sit on this bench and swear each other's unchanging love, they will be united in a solid bond forever. Thousands of varieties of flowers are in bloom, so let's look for it.

Road Station Akika Nagisa Park

It features a roadside station on the shores of Lake Shinji where you can enjoy marine sports, including a one-seater canoe from a pedal boat, a cutter for seven adults (which is required to be booked), and a yacht with a boat for 200 yen for 30 minutes per person.

Road Station Honjo

Roadside station along the middle sea in the mountain shade. On a sunny day, the location of the exquisite scenery that can also be seen in Oyama is attractive. Saijō persimmon, a local specialty to be sold in the facility, is a gem that was nurtured with the blessing of sea breezes and cold differences from Nakaumi, and has a remarkable sweetness and reputation as an advance. There are also products processed into freeze-dried and pound cakes. At the snack tea corner, you can enjoy persimmon soft cream, as well as specialty flavors such as coffee, udon, and wild plants using local natural water.

Abe Shiro Memorial Hall

The memorial museum of the human national treasure, Abe Eishirō, in the production of geese paper [Ganbishi]; exhibits various washi-related materials, including Izumo folk paper, and works by folk art writers; and can also experience making paper (500 yen, reservation required); and takes 30 minutes.

Shimane Prefectural Yakumo Standing Hill of Fengehouse Exhibition Learning Hall

八雲立つ風土記の丘の中心となる資料館。周辺遺跡から出土した考古学資料が展示されている。収蔵品の中には、通称見返りの鹿埴輪とよばれる振り向いた鹿の珍しい埴輪(重要文化財)や額田部臣銀象嵌銘文入太刀[ぬかたべのおみぎんぞうがんめいぶんいりたち](重要文化財)、奈良時代の風土記の丘周辺の復元ジオラマなどが含まれる。建物は前方後方墳がモチーフで、屋上の展望台からは風土記の丘一帯を一望できる。また公園内には、復元古代住居、風土記植物園がある。所要40分。
